Join us for an all day training for faith leaders of youth and young people passionate about social transformation.
The purpose of this training is to provide an opportunity for pastors and/or their designee to educate youth and adults on how to have informed conversations in our community, at school, church, around the dinner table, on the porch and at the bus stops, etc. around such a critical issue.
Our prayer is that this training and tool will help reduce the number of preventable deaths and injuries through better preparation of our youth in their interactions with police officers; while also assuring they take full advantage of their legal rights. Once you receive this training, it is our hope that you or your designee will provide this information to your young people and adults.
Organized by the Center for African American Ministries and Black Church Studies. Contact Priscilla Rodriquez (email@example.com) for more info and to RSVP!
